2 cans 15 oz Canned Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans)
2 teaspoons Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Cumi
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water until foam disappears
- Dry the chickpeas thoroughly using a clean towel or paper towels, patting them gently
- Remove any loose skins that fall off while drying
- Place the dry chickpeas in a bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss to coat
- Add spices over the beans and mix until well coated
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C)
- Place the chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket every five minutes
- Check for crunchiness, cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes if needed, and let cool for five minutes before serving
Notes
For extra crunchiness, let the chickpeas air dry for 30 minutes before seasoning.
If beans become soft, reheat in the air fryer for 2 minutes at 390°F to regain crunch.
