6–8 slices Thick-Cut Bread (Brioche or Challah)
4 Large Eggs
1/2 cup Whole Milk or Heavy Cream
1 tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamo
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (Melted)
1 pinch Salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Prep the Bread – Cut the thick-cut bread slices into three or four uniform sticks
- Step 2: Whisk the Custard – In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and a teaspoon of cinnamon until fully combined
- Step 3: Prepare the Coating – In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Melt the butter and set it aside
- Step 4: Dip and Coat – Quickly dip each bread stick into the egg mixture and place into the air fryer basket without overcrowding
- Step 5: Air Fry – Set air fryer to 375°F and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brow
- Step 6: The Final Touch – Brush with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then serve immediately
Notes
For best results, use stale bread and preheat the air fryer.
