1.5 lbs Chicken Breast or Tenderloins
1/2 Cup Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour
2 units Large Eggs
1.5 Cups Gluten-Free Panko Breadcrumbs
1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Olive Oil Spray as needed
Instructions
- Prepare three shallow bowls: one with gluten-free flour mixed with salt, one with whisked eggs, and one with gluten-free panko mixed with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Coat chicken in flour, then dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture. Place strips in air fryer basket in a single layer, spray lightly with olive oil and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway
Notes
Pat chicken dry before breading to achieve a crispy crust.
Consider double-dipping in the egg and breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
