1 cup Gluten-Free 1-to-1 Flour
1 cup Filtered Water
2 tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
1 tablespoon Coconut Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/4 cup Coconut Sugar (for coating)
1 tablespoon Ceylon Cinnamo
1/2 cup 70% Dark Chocolate
1/4 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
Instructions
- Combine the water, coconut oil, coconut sugar, and salt in a small saucepan. Heat over medium until it gently boils
- Remove from heat and stir in gluten-free flour until a smooth dough forms
- Let dough cool for about five minutes
- Preheat air-fryer to 375°F (190°C) or oven to 400°F (200°C)
- Pipe small 2-inch strips of dough onto a parchment-lined tray or air-fryer basket
- Lightly spray churros with coconut oil
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy
- Melt dark chocolate and almond milk in a double boiler
- Toss warm churros in cinnamon-sugar mixture before serving
Notes
For best results, do not crowd the air-fryer.
