Description

Learn to make healthy Mini Churros with Chocolate Dipping Sauce. This gluten-free, dairy-light recipe is crispy, delicious, and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

1 cup Gluten-Free 1-to-1 Flour
1 cup Filtered Water
2 tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
1 tablespoon Coconut Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/4 cup Coconut Sugar (for coating)
1 tablespoon Ceylon Cinnamo
1/2 cup 70% Dark Chocolate
1/4 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk


Instructions

  1. Combine the water, coconut oil, coconut sugar, and salt in a small saucepan. Heat over medium until it gently boils
  2. Remove from heat and stir in gluten-free flour until a smooth dough forms
  3. Let dough cool for about five minutes
  4. Preheat air-fryer to 375°F (190°C) or oven to 400°F (200°C)
  5. Pipe small 2-inch strips of dough onto a parchment-lined tray or air-fryer basket
  6. Lightly spray churros with coconut oil
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy
  8. Melt dark chocolate and almond milk in a double boiler
  9. Toss warm churros in cinnamon-sugar mixture before serving

Notes

For best results, do not crowd the air-fryer.
