1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
2 units Large Eggs
1/4 cup Yellow Onion (finely diced)
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil or Butter
1/2 teaspoon Dried Dill (optional)


Instructions

  1. Drain the liquid from the canned salmon and press it gently against a sieve to remove excess moisture
  2. Place the flaked salmon in a mixing bowl, add diced onions, salt, and pepper, and mix well
  3. Crack the eggs into the mixture and stir until combined
  4. Gradually add the flour while stirring to achieve a cohesive mixture
  5. Divide the mixture into 6-8 portions and shape each into a round patty
  6. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brow
  7. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper-towel-lined plate to drain before serving
